Return Policy

We want you to love your items from Grey Tree! We're here to help :) 

Returns

  • Returns will be issued refunds in the form of a digital Gift Card only. (Local customers may request an in-store credit) 
  • Returns must be in original, unused, unworn condition with no defects, no stains, no pet hair, no smells, or any signs that the item has been worn or used, with all tags attached.
  • All food and/or sale items are final and cannot be returned. 
  • Returns must be received to us within 30 calendar days of receiving your order (unless otherwise noted at purchase)
  • The 30 days starts from the day the order was received by the customer. Returns older than 45 days will be rejected, and you will be contacted to have them shipped back to you at your expense. 
  • Shipping charges are not refundable. We are not responsible for return shipping costs, lost or stolen packages.
  • Please note due to sanitary reasons, the following items will only be eligible for return or exchange if the tags and hygienic liners (if included) are still attached: swimwear, intimates, undergarments, bras, bandeaus, and hair accessories (including hats and beanies), and some beauty. There will be no exceptions on these items. 

Defects or Damaged Items:

  • Upon receipt, please inspect your order immediately. Please be sure to inspect your items within 3 days of receiving your delivery for defects and issues. Contact email: greytreellc@gmail.com
  • All defects and issues must be notified via email within that 3 day window and must include order number and images of the issue.
  • We cannot make exceptions once you have had the merchandise in your care for a longer period of time, removed tags, washed or worn it.

Cancellations:

  • To cancel an order email greytreellc@gmail.com within 1 hour of the order being placed.
  • Cancellation requests received after the 1 hour window cannot be guaranteed and may still ship out per our shipping guidelines.

Exchanges 

When processing an exchange, we are unable to guarantee a specified item will be in stock once we receive the item back to our department. To address this issue, please follow the below steps to complete an exchange:

  1. Complete checkout for the desired item you would like to replace your original purchase. If you do not wish to purchase an item in it's place at the time, let us know in the following email instructions that you would like a gift card issued. Please note, we do not credit original forms of payment (eg. credit cards or cash back). If you do not make an exchange for another item you will receive a gift card for store credit.
  2. Notify us at greytreellc@gmail.com with your Name and Original Order # for the item you would like to send back. This is also where you should include that you would like to receive store credit if you do not want to purchase another item at this time.  
  3. Once we receive your request, we will confirm the details and ask you to return your item (unworn, unused/un-opened, and with original tags) to the address below
  4. If you have purchased another item already, we will refund your card for the original item once we receive your return. If you chose store credit, you will be issued the credit in the form of a gift card once we receive the original item.
  5. Feel free to ship your orders back with the carrier of your choice - shipping with tracking information is recommended as we are not responsible for lost packages.

Shipping 

All items are shipped via USPS or UPS. Tracking will be provided once your item has shipped. If ordering multiple items at one time, we will ship these items together as one parcel. All items will be shipped within 3-5 business days of placing your order. 

SHIPPING NOTE: We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Once the package leaves our office, the carrier becomes responsible for the package. If your order says it has been delivered but hasn't, if it is not tracking or if you have any issues regarding delivery, please contact the carrier for assistance.

TAX NOTE: Because we are a business within the State of Rhode Island there is a sales tax of 7% on our items. Items that are NOT taxed include clothing, shoes and some grocery items.  

Each item is photographed to its very best to display accurate colors, measurements and patterns. Please beware that various computer/mobile devices have different color display profiles. Items with slight variances will not be considered defective, as each item may be unique in pattern/color.
