Description
The combination of sweet apricots and spicy red jalapeños combine beautifully with warm melted Brie or Camembert cheese. Our toppings make it easy to serve a tasty Baked Brie or Camembert soft cheese at home. Bake and enjoy the delicate flavours as they combine in every mouthful. Just prepare our dry toppings as indicated on the box. Place an 8oz round of Brie or Camembert in an oven proof container or in one of our Brie Bakers. Score the top of the cheese with a sharp knife to allow the flavours to blend together, spoon on your prepared topping, bake and enjoy.
Packaged in our original sealed pouches storage should be in cool (< 21 C or 70 F), dry (< 60% r.h.)area to provide a minimum shelf life without appreciable loss of flavour or functional characteristics.
Ingredients: Dried apricots (sulphites, rice flour), dehydrated vegetables (red bell pepper, jalapeno pepper), turbinado sugar (sugar, molasses).

APRICOT & JALAPENO BAKED BRIE TOPPING
All you need:
1 Pouch Gourmet Village Brie Topping
20 ml (4 tsp) orange juice or liqueur
1-225g/8oz small round Brie/Camembert
1 French baguette, sliced thinly and toasted on both sides, under the oven broiler
All you do:
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350°F)
TO PREPARE THE BRIE OR CAMEMBERT:
Two ways to prepare the cheese, score the top rind with a knife or remove top rind of cheese, leaving rind on sides and bottom intact.
Place cheese, cut side up, in a Brie Baker or baking dish.
DIRECTIONS:
Put contents of Toppings pouch in a small microwave safe bowl, add the liquid and microwave for approximately 60 seconds.
Spread the prepared topping evenly over the top of the cheese.
Place Brie Baker, without lid, in centre of hot oven for 15 - 20 minutes.
Remove from oven & put cover on baker, place on a serving platter and surround with baguette slices.
